2020 - Virtual 5KM Nosy Komba challenge
On the 6th and 7th of June the ESTEC Triathon Club organised for the second time the Nosy Komba 5 km running event, to collect some funds for the association Sunshine in Nosy Komba.

Accounting for the special situation of this spring 2020, this year the Nosy Komba 5 km running event went virtual (although we run for real!). The Rules of the run were:
- The 5KM route shall be a lap meaning you have to finish approx. where you be starting. There is +/- 200m tolerance on the 5KM distance accepted.
- Run the 5KM race alone in the defined time slot at anytime of 6June and 7 June starting time on Saturday 9AM and closing time on Sunday 5PM.
- Please include the following details when naming your strava file: 5KM4NosyKomba;Name;Age;Gender
- You need to be a member of strava and the club Virtual5KM.4.Nosy.Komba
- There will be a separate men/women/kids classification
- Adhere to WHO and RIVM corona measures and avoid busy routes, running in groups. The organisation is not liable for violation of the Corona rules.
- Only participate when you re fully fit, of course stay inside if you have any sign of cold or flu.
- Please be fair, no cheating! This is for fun and for charity!
The 5km Nosy Komba virtual challenge was a big success, thanks to the (virtual) participation of more than 60 runners from many places in Europe [France, Germany, NL, Italy, ...]! Here you can find the final results.
