2017 - ESTEC Triathlon Club participation to 10k in the Leiden Marathon

On Sunday 27 May 2017, a team of the ESTEC triathlon club took part for the first time of the club history to the 10-km business run of the Leiden marathon.

During the preparation the people of the team had suffered blood and tears over the last months before the race to achieve a world-class time record on a 10 km... well, at least this was the original intention.

What happened went actually not so bad, since the ETC team booked an unexpected (but well deserved) 3rd place (amongst the 48 finishing teams) in the team competition.
